The Week 2 Puzzle: The Café Order

Four friends — Alex, Blake, Casey, and Drew — are sitting in a single row at a café counter (Positions 1 to 4, left to right). They each ordered a different drink: Iced Coffee, Green Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Lemonade. Using the clues below, can you figure out exactly who sits where and who ordered which drink?

The Clues:

Alex is sitting on the far-left end of the counter (Position 1).
The person drinking Green Tea is sitting immediately to the right of the person drinking Iced Coffee.
Casey is sitting next to Blake (though we don’t know who is on which side yet).
Drew is drinking Lemonade.
Blake is sitting directly to the left of the person drinking Hot Chocolate.

Step-by-Step Logic Breakdown:

Find Alex’s Spot: Clue #1 explicitly states Alex is in Position 1 (far left).
Eliminate Drew from Position 1: Clue #4 tells us Drew drinks Lemonade. Since Alex is in Position 1, Drew cannot be there.
Analyze Blake and Casey: Clue #5 states Blake is directly to the left of Hot Chocolate, meaning Blake cannot be in Position 4 (far right). Clue #3 notes Casey and Blake are sitting adjacent to each other.
