🤠 The GCF Shortcut: Simplify in One Single Step

Many students try simplifying fractions by dividing top and bottom by 2 or 3 over and over again. While that works, finding the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) gets them directly to the final answer in one move! How the Bounty Hunter Strategy Works:

Find the GCF: Identify the largest number that divides evenly into both the numerator and denominator.
Divide Once: Divide both top and bottom by that exact GCF.
Claim the Bounty: Your fraction is now in its simplest form!

🌵 Example: Capturing “Quick-Draw Quaid” (48/60)

Step 1 (Find GCF): Factors of 45 and 60 share 3 and 5. The Greatest Common Factor is 15.
Step 2 (Divide): 45÷15 = 3 and 60 ÷15 = 4.
Simplest Form: 45/60 = 3/4 (Bounty Claimed: 300 Gold!)
